Dan Rosenfelt, Managing Director of the firm, handles a broad range of personal injury cases including auto and semi-truck accidents and medical malpractice. Other practice areas include Federal Indian Law, litigation in the Navajo Nation courts, product liability claims, and serious injuries. 

Mr. Rosenfelt graduated from Johns Hopkins University and Columbia Law School. For more then 40 years, he has successfully litigated precedent-setting cases in the fields of personal injury, tribal jurisdiction, school law, water rights and the taxation of Indian resources.*

Prior to founding the firm, Dan Rosenfelt was an Assistant Solicitor with the United States Department of the Interior, an Associate Professor of Law at Gonzaga Law School, a Senior Staff Attorney at Harvard University's Center for Law and Education, and a Staff Attorney with the California Indian Legal Services.

He is the author of authoritative books and articles on Federal Indian Law and is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, Arizona, and the Navajo Nation, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. Currently, Mr. Rosenfelt handles personal injury, medical negligence, product liability, and Federal Indian Law cases.

Forrest Buffington, managing director in our Gallup office, graduated from Baylor University Law School in 1978, and moved to the Four Corners area where he practiced in both the private and public sectors for a decade. He served as District Attorney for McKinley County for another decade, from 1989-1999.

Mr. Buffington's areas of practice include personal injury, criminal defense, medical malpractice, Indian law, trucking accidents, employment law, and business law. He is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, the Navajo Nation, the Hopi Tribal Court and the Zuni Pueblo.
